The Perez Project
The Perez Project reimagined an existing backyard into a modern outdoor retreat, blending upgraded pool features, expanded patio space, and refined outdoor living elements. This remodel focused on recreating both the experience of the pool and the functionality of the surrounding space, while introducing contemporary materials with stellar craftsmanship throughout.
The existing pool and outdoor areas felt dated and underutilized. Key features—such as the beach entry, water elements, and patio no longer aligned with how the homeowners wanted to enjoy their backyard.
The goal was to modernize the pool, improve comfort and usability, add shaded living space, and create a more private, polished backyard environment—without losing the character of the original layout.

Custom dog area created with green artificial turf surrounded by decorative iron fencing enclosing the dog area for safety and visual separation.
3D Design & Visualization Process
Before construction began, the Perez Project was fully designed using Envy Exteriors’ advanced 3D design process, giving the homeowners a clear vision of the transformation ahead.
The 3D renderings allowed them to visualize the modified water feature wall, tanning ledge, spa spillway, expanded patio, pergola, and outdoor kitchen as one unified space. This process helped refine proportions, material selections, and feature placement, ensuring the final layout felt balanced and intentional.
By finalizing the design in 3D, the project moved into construction with confidence, minimizing changes during the build and ensuring the finished backyard matched the approved vision in every detail.
