The Stansbury Project is a true showcase of Envy Exteriors’ design-build capabilities—featuring a custom pool and spa, outdoor living space, and complete landscape transformation.
Every element of this project was crafted with intention, blending natural materials with bold architectural features and lush plantings. From the centerpiece arbor above the pool to the raised garden beds and privacy enhancements, this backyard is now a fully integrated environment designed for both entertaining and daily enjoyment.
Pool & Spa
At the heart of the Stansbury backyard is a custom-designed pool and elevated spa, made striking by a one-of-a-kind architectural arbor that spans the water feature wall. This unique structural detail transforms the pool into a sculptural centerpiece—both functional and visually dramatic.
The spa is seamlessly integrated into the pool design, with surrounding water walls finished in a combination of rich and light-toned 3D honed natural stone veneers. Custom powder-coated black scuppers deliver a clean, modern water feature effect, adding movement and sound to the setting.
Architectural Pool Arbor
What makes this project truly unique is the custom-built arbor positioned directly above the pool’s water feature wall. This bold design element frames the pool visually, draws the eye from across the yard, and brings architectural scale to the entire backyard. It’s more than a structure—it’s a design statement that turns the pool into a destination.
Pool Walls & Columns With Planters
In addition to the main water wall, we incorporated lighter-toned 3D honed natural stone veneer on the secondary pool walls and vertical columns. These columns support custom planter bowls, adding vertical interest, texture, and greenery around the pool while maintaining a consistent material palette throughout the design.
Attached Cedar Pergola
Attached to the rear elevation of the home is a custom-built cedar pergola, designed to create a comfortable outdoor room adjacent to the pool. The wood was treated with a custom stain to match the home’s exterior tones, blending the pergola seamlessly with the house. This shaded structure adds both style and function—providing a dedicated space for relaxing, dining, and enjoying the outdoors in comfort.
Custom Outdoor Kitchen
A fully equipped outdoor kitchen was designed and built under the pergola, featuring a built-in grill, smoker, and ample prep space. The countertops were finished with 3CM black granite, offering both durability and luxury.
The kitchen’s base was clad in 3D honed natural stone veneer, which matches the pool’s primary water wall—creating a sense of continuity and refinement across the entire outdoor living zone.
PORCELAIN PATIO
The outdoor living and pool deck were surfaced with sleek, durable porcelain tile, chosen for its clean appearance, cool touch, and low maintenance. This material brings a modern aesthetic to the project and provides a practical foundation for high-traffic areas around the pool, spa, and kitchen.
Artificial Turf
Strategically placed artificial turf provides a low-maintenance, always-green contrast to the hardscaping. It softens transitions, creates a visual break between materials, and enhances the comfort and usability of the yard year-round.
Backyard & Pool Landscaping
Every landscape bed was thoughtfully designed with a balance of evergreen and seasonal interest plantings. The goal was to create softness and movement throughout the space while ensuring clean sightlines and low-maintenance upkeep. To conceal the pool equipment, we built a custom privacy trellis, designed to allow Confederate Jasmine to climb and fill in over time. This natural screening solution keeps the mechanical elements hidden while enhancing the overall beauty and flow of the backyard.
IRRIGATION, DRAINAGE & LIGHTING
Behind the scenes, we installed a full irrigation and underground drainage system to support long-term plant health and manage water responsibly. At night, custom outdoor lighting brings the space to life, highlighting the pool, structure, and landscape features with elegance and subtlety.
