A Complete Backyard Renovation in The Woodlands, Texas
Backyard Transformation Built for Beauty & Enjoyment
Pool & patio remodel, custom framed patio cover, kitchen, fireplace, & landscaping
Sugarek Project
The Sugarek Project was a comprehensive outdoor transformation that combined a full pool remodel, state-of-the-art outdoor living structure, and thoughtfully integrated hardscape, landscape, and lighting upgrades. This project showcases what’s possible when every system—visible and hidden—is rebuilt the right way.
The Challenge & the solution
The existing pool and patio were dated, inefficient, and limited by aging infrastructure beneath the surface. The homeowners wanted a space that felt modern, seamless, and built to last, while also creating a true outdoor destination for entertaining and everyday enjoyment. Rather than simply resurfacing what existed, this project required a deeper investment in performance, longevity, and design cohesion.
Envy Exteriors delivered a top-to-bottom transformation, rebuilding the backyard with a focus on unmatched craftsmanship, upgraded systems, and timeless materials—ensuring the finished space performs as beautifully as it looks.
Pool Remodel & System Upgrades
The pool renovation went far beyond aesthetics including:
-
New tile, coping, and PebbleSheen® interior finish for a clean, modern look
-
Upgraded pool equipment for improved efficiency and reliability
-
New LED pool lighting to enhance nighttime ambiance
One of the most impactful elements of this remodel was the complete replacement of all existing pool PVC plumbing, electrical wiring, and conduit.
This approach required removing and rebuilding the patio—but it allows Envy Exteriors to deliver results that are simply unmatched in quality, safety, and longevity. While most remodels stop at surface-level upgrades, this project was rebuilt from the ground up for decades of dependable use.

3D Design & Visualization
Before construction began, the Sugarek Project was fully designed and visualized using Envy Exteriors’ advanced 3D rendering process.
This allowed the homeowners to see the entire transformation in detail, from the pool finishes and patio layout to the scale of the gabled structure, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and lighting, before any demolition took place.
The 3D renderings helped:
- Fine-tune material selections, colors, and textures.
- Confirm proportions, elevations, and sightlines.
- Visualize how the new patio shape and structure would integrate seamlessly.
- Make confident decisions early, minimizing changes during construction.
By designing and rendering the project upfront, Envy Exteriors ensured that the final build aligned precisely with the approved vision, resulting in a smoother construction process and a finished space that looks exactly as planned.
